(Over...1 billion people are perishing without Jesus in India, 30 million Goddesses (idols made by wood, stone, silver, clay and gold) and Gods are being worshiped in India.
Many are half naked before the Gospel reached them, in many areas still there is no Pastor, church and even they never heard the name of Jesus.
About 1.3 Billion people live in India. If they have a well at all, they are fortunate. Usually it is one well per village, hand pumped of course. By comparison, they own absolutely nothing.
There are still people in India who wear nothing but a loin cloth and carry a bow and arrow. It's basic. No medical care, no welfare program, no aid of any kind.
In some tribal and hill areas Christians and Bibles are Prohibited. So we are prayerfully working here to make some difference between them. Lead unsaved to Christ, baptize and teach them to be grounded in the Word.
WOMEN IN INDIA:
Indian Women are suppressed and ignored and most neglected of the population. Only a few are literate. Others are illiterates or school or college dropouts. Its tragedy how others find advantage on the weak women. We have a ministry amongst these women. along with gospel we give instructions how to be a blessing to the family spiritually and physically. We have a plan for a Sewing Center in which we teach the various handwork, stitches etc. and sell the products, thereby the family gets additional income to the family and also enhance the dignity of women in the society. Please pray for the various needs of this project.
WIDOWS IN INDIA:
It is very pathetic to see our Indian Widows. Ladies are put down so much they were not given much importance. Ladies has to work like a time machines, she has to do the all the work like cooking, washing, take care of the children. Men only do the office work and gets the money. If the women become a widow in olden days (before William carey came) she was thrown into fire. (This rite in Indian culture is known as "Sati". They use to kill them, and the children were offered to the idols. William Carey brought a resolution and educated people that it is wrong to kill widows.Our government stopped killing widows. But our widows are not allowed to go out, they are not supposed to bless any occasions like marriages, birthdays, special occasions and they should not marry again, even if they are very young women. But nowadays very few widows are coming out for jobs, some of them are educated.
We have valuable programmes for the women here. Every month we have a get together for them and as well for other women. We give them the word and the food too. To some we offer sarees and blankets too. We want to give each widow a machine to make a living. They too attend the church and blessed by the Lord. Please pray for them.This is the reason to bless the widows. People watch the life of those "cursed" turn to blessings!

" In India girls are valued less than boys" and this results many inequalities in society.In addition to rampant sexselective abortions, coleman points to singnificant disparties in access to health and education.
CHILDREN IN INDIA :
India has a population of 1.1 billion people. Nearly half are children under the age of 14. The majority of India 's children live in rural villages where life is difficult. Nearly 12 percent of all children born in India will not live to their first birthday. Since its inception, child care has been an integral part of The Faith Ministries India.
In India disadvantaged children are working as child labors. Some are drop-outs and some other are never enrolled. Low literacy among disadvantaged children mainly attributed to their lower enrolment and dropout as their illiterate and poverty stricken parents do not understand the importance of education and are not afford to send their children to schools. They are working in hazardous situations like Beedi Rolling (tobacco making), Domestic, Construction, Mechanic, Hotels, Dhabas, Rag-picking works etc. Some are roaming in the streets and involved anti social elements.
The girl child education is a challenging one. Hence, we have to address the problem of working children, Child labour & drop-outs in a challenging and priority basis for rehabilitation.
ORPHAN & STREET CHILDREN:
The problem of orphan / street children is acute due to urbanization and industrialization. Due to the deaths of HIV / AIDS affected persons, Re-marriage of deserted / widowed / divorce women, absence of love and security, Unwanted pregnancy of Trafficking / ually exploited girls; these orphan and street children are left without care and support. Recent floods in our area aggravated the situation. In recent days, semi orphans are increasing. Due to family disputes, accidental deaths, illegal contacts etc many children are becoming parentless. Their grandparents, relatives are giving care and support due to various reasons. These orphan / semi orphans / street children are involved in rag picking, pit pocketing and participating in anti social, criminal activities. Therefore, we have to mainstream these children in the national building by providing education, care and support.
VULNERABLE CHILDREN:
Child marriages, Girl child discrimination, Child trafficking, Child abuse and child rights violation is common in our area. Children are facing atrocities, harassment and humiliation at home, schools, work place and community. Due to migration of parents & resettlements, children are affecting badly. They are not enjoying their rights and utilizing their entitlements. Main reason is that they lack knowledge and awareness on their rights & entitlements and community have no compassion towards children. Hence, comprehensive and integrated child rights campaign is needed.
" Ask of me, and I will make the nations your inheritance the ends of the earth your possession " ( Ps. 2:8 ).

Indians are looking anywhere and everywhere for salvation
Superstition and idol worship have an iron grip—there is no forgiveness or joy. In the face of such overwhelming physical & spiritual poverty, the Gospel brings power, hope, eternal life, and the way for a better life today.
So I am looking for Evangelists, Missionaries, Churches, Ministries and Volunteers to join with me to share the love of Jesus to the people. The love is sufficient for everyone and for every situation.
Come let us build the Kingdom of God with His Gospel with love and let us help the people in need.
